Back to blogging....

Went to hibernation for a while....
Got busy with an interesting job in the social venture community and writing the chartered accountancy exam...

And there you see...a year gone...

I am late by a good one year from when I decided to take my GMAT.
But I dont regret it either....I aint too old and I did cash in and enjoy every opportunity that life brought in front of me....

I loved every past moment..But I havnt lost sight of my goal.
I am back to it yet again...

But this time not to be distracted by any other thing in the world. I have had my share of fun and its time to get back to some serious goal achievement path....

Day 1_GMAT Prep (Starting all over again)

Day 1:

Came back after a wonderful holiday to South East Asia!!!
Had to give myself a big jolt to come back to the GMAT study mode....
So thought would start with some BTG questions as ice breakers ....

Goals: Long Term Short Term

Well the one question that had my head spinning off for the past several months.
Long term and short term goals...................

After all, I want to do so many different things.How do I zero in on one.

When I travel, I swear to myself that I will be working for NGC/Discovery writing intriguing travelogues, clicking photographs and discovering the world.

When I am in office, I dream to be sitting in that Partner's room leading the organisation.

When I am working with the downtrodden and the not so privelaged children and women, my heart goes out and I vow to tread that path.

When I am practicing music and art, I just fall for the love of it and wish that I too can become a shining star out there!!!

When I am attending my favourite rock band live, I have nothing else on my dream list but to be there performing with them.

When I am attending a big show/concert, I wish I was one of the event management members.

When I am dining at a fine restaurant, my mind brims with ideas and I crave to start a chain serving the most delicious food in the most enchanting backdrop

When I am staying at a beautiful resort, I wish I could start one myself someday.

When I am in the library, I wish I could read it all up one day (and own one too!!)

When I am with my mom, I yearn to teach all her kids and many more with all that I have learnt and discovered in the past few years

So many dreams and so many goals. How do I zero in on one.
Somebody suggested; Do what you are most passionate about.

Well that means I have to pursue them all in my short sweet life.
Well so be it. I am game for it. After all dreams are made to be achieved :)

Long time....

Back after a long time.
After trying some flowery english lingo in my last post, I guess I will return back to normal. Overall a hectic week. Test date - 28th July is arriving soon.

Had a good pepped up conversation with my bro who is back in the country after graduating from GSB Chicago. Got lots of info and motivation too.

I already have my holiday to the beaches of Indonesia and Bali booked for 1st August. Am still quite lagging behind in my preps, not having touched Quant yet.

Time to buck up!!!

Will be back soon with some positive development and hopefully some good mock test results.

The mind inside a GMAT Taker!!

As my D -Day is approaching at a rate faster than I can keep pace with, hopes and dreams sedulously fostered over the past few years are about to see the beacon of reality.

Right now it is this massive, rolling maelstrom of commingled emotion and image in my head that's both inspired and excited as well as anxious and composed.

With a voracious and insatiable desire for making a difference to the world, I surge ahead with an unflinching determination to conquer my hopes and my dreams.
